Blue Ridge Meeting

I left on June 23 and traveled to Scotsboro AL and spent the night with friends.

I left on the 24th and rode through Fort Payne on to Little River Falls and then back through Desoto Forest to Desoto Falls and Sally Howard Chapel.

I met up with a club member at Hammondville for breakfast then we took US 11 to Chattenooga and then Hwy 64 through Ocoee. From there we took Hwy 30(Greasy Creek Rd.) to Tellico and had lunch. Then it was on to the Cherohala Skyway to Robbinsville, N.C. and on to Hwy 28 and 74 to Waynesville, N.C and to the meeting site at the Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground on Hwy 276 in Crusco, N.C.

Friday morning two of us rode to Waynesville and took Hwy 23 to 209 and 208 to Hot Springs, then 212 and 19W to Egypt TN, then I26 and I40 back to the camp ground.

Saturday I had breakfast in Maggie Valley with friends after which I continued up Hwy 19 to the Blue Ridge Parkway where I met up with a couple of other club members for a while. We rode the parkway north until Hwy 215 where we split up and I rode 215 north back to 276 and to the campground.

Sunday I rode back with the friends from Scottsboro to their home and spent Sunday night.

I left early Monday morning and made the trip back home. It was a great five days of riding and spending time with friends from the BMW Club of Alabama.
